WHEN I WAS IN SPAIN

My name is Serhat Karakuş. When I was in Spain I had  very good experiences.The most importants of them were visiting Cadiz, competition in Zoo and friendship established there.

We had good relationship.I knew the names of all of my friends.They were kindly people.

The trip to Cadiz were enjoyable. Especially caming back to Rota was joyeful.We couldn’t stand up because of waves.

And zoo…We learned lots of things about the anmals.And we’ve done many and useful acivities there.

Make a long story short, we had many exeriences…

I am happy now because I’ve had all of these.

MY TRIP TO SPAIN

Hi, I’m Gürkan. I am in Spain.Spain is so beautiful country with all point of view.We are staying in Rota with all members of our group.The rooms of hotel staying there, are really confortable. Spain doesn’t look like Turkey.One of  impressive thing for me is conscious of traffic in Rota. Priority is allways belong to pedestrian.  When I was in Turkey I allways had wait for passing the vehicle but here the cars  are waiting for me and driver try to say “please ,first you!” 

In Seville, there is a cathedral that was a mosque before.  There are many mini canals for watering on the ground in the garden of the cathedral.  And these seems a good  picture and  ıt has impressed me.  There is a big tower. There are many bells on the roof. We have climbed 37th floors to reach the top of the tower. It’s worth all the view to be fatigue .

The other thing impressed me is the beach near our hotel.   We’ve played football near the beach with my friends that I’d met here.  The match have been enjoyable.

I shouldn’t forget the boat. Coming back has been adventurous. But the most important thing is the friendship established here.  I will never forget them. Our amity will never been forgotten.

IN SPAIN

Our six-day trip in Spain, we have travelled around Sevilla, Rota, Cadiz and Jerez.

We enjoyed those trips. We were really happy. There were a point that it was noticed all of us; traffic. The pedestrians were always with priority.

My favorite activity in 6-day trip was the study in zoo.One of the activities that we tried to find hidden papers, that were some tips on them, was very enjoyable and full of attraction. We were really good team. Because we tried to understand to each other. To find the first tip was too difficult.

Trying to speak English was good and usefull for us.And the places where we walked around were wonderful.

Having some friends from different geography  has given me different feelings that I have never had before. That time was very full of experiences. I have been very happy because of that. I want to my friendship to continue for a long time.

Surprising

When we’ve landed Sevilla, they picked us up from the airport. Our trip has lasted exactly 2 hours.It was too long that I expected.

When we walked around street of Rota I noticed that the vehicles always were giving way to pedestrians although not to be any traffic light.

There were many old cathedrals in Spain, Andalusia. Of course we couldn't visit all of them. But those that we visited were wonderful.

We ‘ve gone to Cadiz . When I’ve heard  this I’ve imagined sand and palm trees. But everywhere there were  full of structures .

We’ve climbed the Giralda. 35 floors. We were tired but İt was worth to climb the sightseeing.

And we went to IES Arroyo Hondo School . The school was bigger than ours. And the friends were really friendship.

The Things That I've liked in Spain

1.       I’ve liked the activities we had done in zoo,

2.       I’ve impressed the cathedrals were we had visited that included most of pictures and icons.

3.       The Museum was perfect.

4.       I’ve loved the school, especially the panel that was prepared for us, made me happy.

5.       The ocean was perfect, super.

6.       The boat trip was enjoyable, especially the waves were massive while we were getting back.

7.       The houses had flowerpot in the balconies looked perfect.

8.       Traffic was incredible.

9.       The visit to Coca Cola Factory was good idea.

10.   The confessional cabins in churches  were impressive.

11.   I’ve loved the hotel where we stayed there.

12.   The wiev top of the Giralda was perfect.

13.   The friendship was perfect. People were warm-blooded

14.   The horse carriage that were used wedding ceremony, were perfect.

15.   Special scarves that have been worn in the wedding ceremony were wonderful.

16.   But the most enjoyable one was zoo for me.

The Special Week

I’ve  mostly loved the friends who I met due to that visit .They were really friendships. I was pleasure to visit the cathedrals.But I’ve loved my new friends.Teaching them Turkish  was perfect exerience for me. The day that we swam in the ocean was incredible.The waves made us bounced.

These was the perfect week that I've lived in my life.I’ve performed many first in there.

Our missing the flight when we went there was good opportunity for us. Otherwise we couldn’t stay in Frankfurt.And flights were perfect. The teachers who made us travelled around were wonderful.

An Overviev of The Turkish Cuisine

A glance at the World cuisine, Turkish cuisine is viewed as having an important place. Surely , It has been effected  accumulations that brought by  centuries, affects of civilisations and various geographies. This wealth is evident in the rich variety of foods.

Nutritional culture varies from region to region and even from city to city of Turkish geography. When it is looked at to the east , it is seen more meat and cereal-based diet.

But in the west vegetables and herbal diet come into prominence. Lightness of  Olive oil reigns supreme on the Mediterranean coast but   butter is used inside and  Eastern Anatolia mainly. In the Turks Peninsula,the fish dishes have been developed especially in the Aegean and Black Sea Regions. “Hamsi” is a kind of fish that  the most popular one in the Black Sea region.Even if  It's done delicious soup by using hamsi.

Different kind of cheeses is produced belong to each region.And It's done "kuymak" that has been warm starter or named of "künefe"that has been kind of sweet with syrup by using special cheeses.

Tarhana is a kind of soup material that is made by using yoğurt, tomatoes, flour and spice, parsley and mint. It has been done in middle Anatolia in Turkey because of conductive, dry weather conditions.Vegetables like eggplant and pepper are dried in the summer time naturally and they are used in winter time.

Dried fruits are most common in East Anatolia. There has taken a large place in dried apricot in a big part of Turkey."Pestil" and "köme" (covered walnut that is in the center of this) are prepared in the autumn and  used as a store of vitamins and calories in the cold months in winter that made  using mulberry, pear, apple  .

Traditional specialities of Turkish cuisine has been developed at the Ottoman court.  And that's why this cuisine has been recognised in the world.
